To Discard a HEPA filter you need to monitor pressure between HEPA Filter
and FFU with Magnolic pressure gauge if the filter is damage or hole it
drops total pressure or very low pressure if it blocks due to the product
or dust it will show high pressure than normal limit in the both cases you
have to replace the HEPA

Velocity shall be 90 FPM +/- 20% Airflow shall be laminar up to the working height. Usually at 90 FPM u can able to meet the same.

We would like to install Pre-Filters (of 90% efficiency down to 10 microns)
& Fine Filters (99.9% down to 5 microns) for an air quantity of 38500 Cfm.
Maximum nos of Pre Filters that can be isntalled are 24 Nos of size 610 x
610 mm & nos of Fine Filters of 610 x 610 mm size are 20 Nos.
With the above we are getting hface velocity of 2.54 m/sec across the filter. Pl clarify whether this is recommended for the efficiency specified above or not?? If so can you please give the reference of standard ?? What is the relation between Filter efficiency Vs Face Velocity Vs Filter Thickness (for Pre & fine filters)
